Good health and well-being advocacy

To advance the agenda for Well-being of Young People (10-24 years ) across the Globe 1.8 Billion Young People for Change Campaign and GFA ’23 was coordinated by PMNCH , the largest global alliance advocating for health and well-being of women, children and adolescents, hosted by WHO.
The CAYW Collaborative team leaders spearheaded the campaign in Punjab and mobilized participation of young people in the AI Based WYPW Chatbot Campaign , Art for Well-being Competition and Social Media advocacy campaign to share their perspectives on five domains of Well-being. This was a pioneering campaign for the Youth of Punjab to share their opinions, demands and aspirations for their well-being and future on a global platform. The adolescents and youth also participated in Global Forum for Adolescent 23′ on 11th and 12th October 2023, the world’s largest virtual meeting of adolescents , youth advocates and global leaders. The GFA served to increase awareness about the demands of 1.8 billion young people ; the largest cohort in the history and engage youth leaders, academicians, organizations and governments’ for better policies , programs and financial commitments to address the demands and needs of young people. The participants and team members of CAYW Collaborative received mobilizer and attendee certifications from PMNCH for their exceptional commitment, creativity, and invaluable contributions in the multi year 1point8 billion campaign.

1. Strengthen Agency of Adolescents and Youth by providing meaningful social and civic participation and adequate resources and mechanisms to support youth and adolescent well-being .
2. Provide affordable High Quality adolescent health and well-being services especially to adolescent parents, including through digital platforms and peer led models that brings empathetic care closer to communities, including schools, colleges and health care services
3. Ensure mental well-being and resilience by providing evidence based information, counselling services, psychotherapy, psychosocial support and destigmatizing mental health.
