The modules of the 6 weeks , 90 hour Counselling internship included ; basic counselling Process and Skills, psychological Assessments, Behavioral interventions, mock counselling sessions, Presentations and School-Based workshops .

Team of CAYW Collaborative Interns sucessfully completed the First Phase of Adolescent Counselling Internship Program 2024 under the mentorship of Dr Gurpreet K sandhu , Dr Akanksha Soni , Shruti Malhotra and Amandeep Kaur. The interns conducted individual Counselling Sessions, Role Plays , Relaxation Therapies, Peer counselling sessions at CAYW Counselling Cove and group counselling sessions on Digital well-being , Reproductive Health of adolescent Girls in the schools.The objectives of Adolescent counselling internship was to provide knowledge about the developmental challenges of adolescence and impart training in counselling skills, processes , assessments’ and evidence based psychological interventions. The adolescent internship training modules were based on the guidelines of UNICEF, PMNCH and WHO.
Research Internships 2026
The Research Internship is an opportunity to learn fundamentals of psychological research , including literature review, data colllection and analysis, results and discussions ,conclusions and references.The internships shall be supervised by Dr Akanksha Soni and Dr Gurpreet Kaur Sandhu.
Advocacy Internships : Closed
The advocacy internship is meaningful adolescent and youth engagement for positive change in the lives of children, adolescent and youth .The internship is offered to students enrolled in high school, undergraduate and post-graduate degree programs in psychology. The duration of internship is one to two months.

The internships in Counselling, Research and Advocacy are offered according to the availability of seats and requirements of the Internship Programmes of CAYW Collaborative.
